HR Coordinator

Sumner, TX | Full-time / Part Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized HR Coordinator to join our team at Load Trail in Sumner, Texas. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources and Recruiting departments, including secretarial duties, scheduling appointments, processing applications, filing, data entry, and assisting with applicant drug testing and new hire orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and collect documents

  • Process applications and review them for past employment

  • Set up weld tests for welding applications

  • Maintain filing systems, including I-9s, new hire files, and terminations

  • Assist supervisors and employees with document requests, such as vacation requests, internal applications, and W-4s

  • Coordinate and prepare for new hire orientation and on-boarding activities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed

  • Work closely with HR recruiting staff to successfully onboard new employees

  • Assist with day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resources Department

  • Participate in special projects as needed, such as open enrollment

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Schedule:

  • 8 to 10-hour shift

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources (Preferred)

  • Proficient in English (Preferred)

  • Proficient in Spanish (Preferred)

  • Day shift availability (Preferred)
